DELCO Sports Hall of Fame Visits Hatboro

“Legs” Logan, John McKenna & Frank Upton all members of the Delco Sports Hall of Fame made a surprise visit on February 18th from their Delaware County homes to pay tribute to Connie Mack’s Philadelphia Athletics & Marcus Hook’s Mickey Vernon. They vowed to return on Saturday March 7th to meet Lou Brissie.

A’s Society Attends Phila Sports Writers Banquet

A’s Society ambassador’s Harry Adams & Joe Brancato were special guests at the recent Philadelphia Sports Writers Banquet held in Cherry Hill, NJ. An estimated 1300 were in attendance. Once again the Society put on a display of A’s memorabilia from the Museum for the sole pleasure of the attendees.
