Saturday January 9, 2010 was a very special day in the Society’s Museum as football Hall of Famer Chuck Bednarik made a rescheduled visit due to the snowstorm of December 19th that caused the cancellation of his intended first visit.
A steady stream of Bednarik & Eagles fans enjoyed their time with as many described him. The Philadelphia Eagles most popular player of the 20th century. In his normal amicable fashion Bednarik joked with the fans, lisented intently to all of the stories repeated about his Hall of Fame career as he signed copies of his new book “CONCRETE CHARLIE” & the recently designed limited edition of his Hartland ceramic figurine sure to be a popular collectible only available through the Gift Shoppe of the A’s Society.
