The exhibit traces the early beginnings of baseball in the City of Brotherly Love. From our 2008 World Champion Phillies to other historic teams such as the Philadelphia Athletics, the Pythian Club of Philadelphia (c. 1866, the first prominent African American team in the city), and the Philadelphia Stars (c. 1933 Negro League team), America’s pastime will be on display through historic jerseys, photographs, Connie Mack Stadium seats, items commemorating the 2008 World Series championship, and more!

The exhibit is no longer on display as of December 1, 2009. Please see below for pictures from the event.
