A’s Society at CBP!

August 9-10 is the Phillies’ Alumni Weekend, and as part of the festivities dedicated to looking back at Philadelphia’s rich baseball history, the A’s Society will occupy two tables in the First Base Plaza on the Main Concourse at CBP. Phillies’ and Athletics’ artifacts will be on display, and information will be handed out to fans describing our Society, its mission and structure, and educational and outreach programs. The literature will encourage fans to visit our museum and website.

This is a wonderful opportunity to generate new support for our Society. By being at the ballpark, those in attendance have already shown an interest in Philadelphia baseball. We’ll seek to recruit new members and attract other forms of assistance so we can keep up and perhaps even increase our programs and efforts intended to preserve and honor Philadelphia’s glorious baseball past.

The Phillies take on the Pittsburgh Pirates on August 10th, so come to the ballpark, cheer on the hometown crew, and stop by the A’s Society’s table to show support and further our success.
