MUSEUM OPENS FOR GROUP TOURS
By popular request the Executive Board of the Society approved renovations
to enlarge the Museum section of the Hatboro facility to accommodate
groups of visitors. After having been closed for 2 months, the Museum
re-opened on Wednesday, February 9th in time to welcome the Chandler
Hall Health Center's Adult Day Program. Case workers Lorie Weiss
along with David Field House were thankful to the Society for making
available the wonderful history of baseball and the artifacts on
display. Refreshments were served.
In approving the renovations the Board felt it was time to include
other types of events such as book signings ,lectures, celebrity
appearances and other local events that will include a monthly memorabilia
auction on site.
