October
2007: Mack grandchildren Kathleen McGillicuddy Kelly & brother
Tom come to Hatboro.

When asked how they enjoyed the 2007 baseball
season ,Kathleen sadly stated "Since our Diamond Backs were
swept out of the playoffs, I had to visit the A's Museum to reminisce
about grandfathers many winning championships and be in his company"
while brother Tom, from Florida smiled and said, "as I watched
these playoffs I was amazed at how many former Marlins were playing
on post season teams, amazing isn't it ?"
(Editors note: there's a trivia question for
you: "how many former members of the Florida Marlins participated
with other teams in the 2007 playoffs "?)

Sean & Clifford surprised the family after working months to get
the old woolen A's uniform the players wore back in the day. They
were the hit of the day, & enjoyed every minute playing up to the
crowd & having their photo taken with fans who came up to them.

After the first pitch Sean & Clifford and the family stopped at
the dining room where all the great former players & families were
& had them sign their baseball uniform shirts. It was so much fun
& the players loved it. They were thrilled to have the likes of
Eddie Joost, & Bobby Shantz, etc. autographs.
