LOU
LIMMER IN HOSPITAL
Lou Limmer has been one of our strong supporters of all activities
of the A's Society. The slugging first baseman has had some health
challenges these past few months. In October he was in the hospital
with pneumonia and a slipped disc causing him to miss the reunion.
Just after Thanksgiving he suffered a blood clot in the lung and
was hospitalized in Boca Raton, Florida where he and his wife, Pearl,
spend the winter.
Lou would love to hear from fans, friends and team-mates:

THANKS FROM LOU LIMMER
Lou Limmer has received over 100 get well cards from A's Society
members and fellow players. He wishes to express his heartfelt appreciation
for the kindness and caring of our "family" at a challenging
time. He thanks all those who took the time to write to him for
remembering him over 50 years since his time with the A's.
He is making progress and the prayers and good thoughts of the A's
Society members have played an important role.
