A's Society 12th Annual Reunion Weekend


The Executive Board of the A's Society has announced that this years A's Society Breakfast Reunion will be held the weekend of Oct 16-17, 2004. Preliminary plans and arrangements are in the process to honor the 1954 Philadelphia Athletics team, which was the last year the City of Philadelphia sported a representative team in the American League. A stellar list of both former A's and major league players representing other teams of that era are scheduled to attend.

 

The Reunion committee, headed by John Patton includes Clara McGonigal, Mike Morsch,. Tony Risi and John Addison, are in the early stages of planning the weekend's activities. The fun starts on Saturday the 16th with a meet the stars convention at the Days Inn coated in Horsham PA. The main event is the Sunday Reunion Breakfast held just 3/10ths of a mile south of the Days Inn at Williamson's Restaurant.

Reservations are currently being accepted for the Sunday Reunion Breakfast at Williamsons Restaurant ($40 per person). Seating is strictly based on a first come first served basis. All previous Reunions were sell-outs. Room reservations for out of town guests are available with the A's Society special Reunion weekend rate at the Horsham Days Inn.
