Morsch Named To Advisory Board

mosch1.jpg - 7275 Bytesociety president Dave Jordan announced the appointment of Michael E. Morsch, executive editor of Montgomery Newspapers in Fort Washington, to the A's Society Advisory Board. Morsch, a native of the Peoria, Illinois, area, starred in baseball at Muscatine (Iowa) Community College and went on to play at the University of Iowa, where he played against Wichita State's Joe Carter, the 1993 nemesis of the Phillies' Mitch Williams. Morsch has been in the newspaper business for more than twenty years and was editor of the Norristown Times Herald from 2000 to 2002. He continues to be a baseball enthusiast and memorabilia collector. Mike has been back in the Philadelphia area since June with his wife Sherry and two daughters.
