George & Tina said that they had a great time but only attended 9 preseason games during their week stay. By the way - none of those games were doubleheaders! |
| George & Tina meet with the A's Society player rep, John Addison. John not only serves as player rep but he is also the unofficial tour guide, transportation organizer and concierge for the LeMans Suites and the A's Society. If he could only find a good agent, he might even get paid for all of that! |

To kick off their Spring Training visit, John presents George with a baseball signed by all of the players who attended last years Reunion Breakfast. You might say that John got to throw out the first ball. |
| George & Tina finally get to relax in their suite. |
|
| .......... and one week after former A's & Yankees pitcher, Randy Gumpert and his lovely wife Ann. |

"She is a remarkable woman who has lived a remarkable life," says Diane. "I can't believe how well she gets around for a woman of 90. She still drives her car, she walks her dog "Cookie" every day and maintains a beautiful home."
We hope to have some stories about the women of professional baseball on our website soon. Keep checking in with us!
