Creighton School Students Offer Halloween Program to PPh Residents
Residents of The Philadelphia Protestant Home were
treated to a program of Halloween songs, jokes, and dance by kindergarten
and third grade students from Thomas Creighton School on October
29. The program was in thanks to the many volunteers from PPh who
tutor the children weekly at the school, which is located in the
Lawndale section of Northeast Philadelphia.
Following the program the children received their treats, candy
from the residents and packs of baseball cards donated by the Philadelphia
Athletics Historical Society, Inc, located in Hatboro, PA.
The Philadelphia Protestant Home (PPh) is a not-for-profit continuing
care retirement community located on 12-1/2 acres in the Lawndale
section of Northeast Philadelphia ? home to more than 600 residents
in Independent Living, Personal Care, and Health Care. PPh has been
providing care to seniors for 120 years.
