Kenny Ayres, 18 year old Upper Dublin senior has selected the Athletics
Society to complete his School's Community Study Program. Kenny,
a UD varisty baseball player selected the Society because of his
interest in baseball & its history in this area. In meeting
with the Society's Executive Director it was decided that the first
project for Kenny to complete will include a complete cataloging
of the Society's vast sports library of over 2000 books. He begins

We welcome the youth of this area in their efforts to learn about
the impact Connie Mack and his Philadelphia Athletics had on this
area in Mack's 50 year run. Kenny's future goal is to seek his college
major in Broadcasting & Journalism and as such was extremely
pleased to learn that the Society has arranged a book signing with
Phillies broadcaster Chris Wheeler for Saturday June 19th in Hatboro
where Mr. Wheeler's new book "THE VIEW FROM THE BOOTH"
will be made available to the general public.
