A's Society Visits Delaware County Veterans In Concordville, PA

 

Four members of the A's Society traveled to Glen Mills, Pa on Sunday April 23rd to participate in State Representative Stephen Barrar's "Tribute to Veterans. " Max & Rikki Slberman, Harry Adams and Ernie Montella manned the Society's booth distributing free Society related memorabilia while personally greeting and thanking each Veteran, their wives and other relatives as they entered the school's vestibule. Max was the keynote speaker and expressed his gratitude for this opportunity to share his experiences during his Vietnam era service with so many veterans from another time in America's history while Ernie spoke about the Society's mission & goals and our recent project of distributing more than 3800 copies of Bill Werber's book, "Memories of a Ball-Player" to veterans all over the world.The veterans in attendance at this event received their copies at an earlier Delaware County event. The A's Society is proud to be a part of these community events and looks forward to other such invitations.

 

A's Society VP Max Silberman himself a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict shares his experiences with the overflow crowd of more than 275 veterans at Pa State Representatives Tribute to America's Veterans held at the
