A's Ace Lou Brissie to be honored by the Savannah Sand Gnats in April 2008.

Argurably the best pitcher to come out of the A's CLass "A" team. Brissie's 1947- 23-5 won/lost record was responsible for the Savannah "INDIANS" (name at that time) for their domination of Class A ball, one step below the majors.

To coincide with the festivities in Savannah for Brissie the Society has commissioned the prestigious Hartland LLC company to design this figurine of Brissie to commemorate the ocasssion.

Only a limited number will be made. The Society also designed this elaborate carton to house the figurine.
