Eagles
Book Offered to a Packed House
For 3 hours Saturday evening October 15th, authors Ray Didinger
& Robert S. Lyons autographed their new exciting book
"The Eagles Encyclopedia" to a packed Philadelphia
A's Society Hatboro Museum/Library/Gift Shoppe.
Originally Scheduled for 5pm -7pm start, Ray & Bob got
an early start at 4:30 and were kept busy by the overflow
crowd until 7:30 signing their book, answering questions to
the enjoyment of Philadelphia sports fans young & old.who
made the trip to the 6 North York Road facility.
Earlier in the day, Didinger during his weekly spot on his
WIP radio talk show had made mention that since this signing
was not like all the others in book stores, he really was
unsure of what to expect in Hatboro. Needless to say both
authors were impressed with the Society's facility that incidentally
to this point proved to be the most successful of all of their
other signings with an atmosphere of the Society's museum
surrounding them.
The enthusiastic crowed some donned in their Eagles shirts
(no Cowboys shirts in site, poor T.O.) were also treated to
refreshments of sandwiches, pretzels, chips and soft drinks
by the Society's Museum committee.
The Didinger & Lyons popular book is still available from
the Society's Gift Shoppe in time for the holiday season.
