WHY LITTLE HATBORO??

When the A's Society decided in November 1998 to make Hatboro its center point facilty, many of our members asked WHY HATBORO? This is the best and only explanation we can offer. Probably one of the most if not the most historic boros in all of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, Hatboro because of its role in the Revolutionary War and throughtout its importatnce in commerce and its close relationship to Philadelphia was the obvious choice.

The recently published book "Images of Hatboro" contains dozens of photographs that depict life as it was in the 19th century. Many of those historic dwelings remain to this day & age. A perfect read for someone wanting to spend some time in the long long ago.

The A's Society now offers this book at a seasonal price of only $22.00 and will mail free.

Price: $22.00

Long before the A's Society made Hatboro its home base, the popular corner of York & Moreland Roads housed an A&P Supermarket that later vecame the home of several banking institutions.
