Nick Nagurny, Ray Didinger and Nick's wife Karen at the
book signing. Nick Nagurny opens Ray's book to a photo of himself
alongside Ray with Eagles GM, Pete Retzall and Eagles owner, Leonard
Tose. Nick was co-caption for Philadelphia Bulletin in the Paper
Bowl, a touch football game between rival Philadelphia newspapers.
Nick Nagurny and Ray Didigner worked together at the Philadelphia
Bulletin. Ray was the football writer and columnist, Nick was
assistant sports editor and also the auto racing writer. Ray states,
"He is a terrific guy and he was a great boss." This
event was the first time Ray had seen Nick (and Karen) in at least
20 years and it was a real treat.
